An intriguing Euro 2024 semifinal has been set up in Dortmund on Wednesday as England and Netherlands collide for spot in the final.

England's much-discussed switch to a three-man defence for the Switzerland game hardly proved to be a significant change from previous lacklustre displays, but Luke Shaw made his long-awaited return from injury as he came on in the second half of the quarterfinal, so he will likely be in serious contention to replace right-footed Kieran Trippier here to provide proper balance on the left side.
